Summary:

Reporting to the Travel Manager, assisting in the travel management of events and non-event travel for internal staff. Booking all aspects of travel and ensuring effective & timely administration of travel processes.


You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing travel requests, and adhering to company policies. You will provide essential support to our travellers, assisting them with any inquiries or concerns they may have before, during, and after their trips. Your goal will be to ensure that every member of the team experiences seamless travel arrangements to ensure optimum service delivery.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and book all travel arrangements including flights, accommodation, and transportation for event attendees.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing all inquiries, concerns, and issues.
  • Act as an interface between our travellers, departments, and SailGP’s travel management partner.
  • Maintain accurate records of all travel arrangements and keep traveller profile data up to date.
  • Assist with visa processing and provide necessary documentation for international travel.
  • Communicate pre-travel and entry requirements for events and ad hoc travel.
  • Travel to SailGP events as part of the Travel team as and when required, on a rotation basis
  • Ensure compliance with the travel policy.
  • Support onsite operations during events from the back office when required.
  • Other duties as reasonably required by SailGP for the successful performance of the role.

About You:

  • Experience in the travel or event industry would be advantageous.
  • The ability to work effectively in a small team, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude and supportive outlook
  • Good working knowledge of G Suite and/or Microsoft packages including word/excel.
  • Strong administrative, oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Appreciation for data and reporting with excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable communicating with multiple global stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines.
  • Understanding different cultures and countries.
  • Be willing to be on call outside of working hours, when required.
  • Happy with a hybrid working model - minimum of 3 days in the London office per week.
