Corporate Responsibility Manager - Fixed Term Contract

Reporting to the Group Head of Corporate Responsibility, you'll demonstrate the business value of Corporate Responsibility (CR) - balancing your passion for the issues with a thorough understanding of the commercial implications.

Drawing on your diplomatic skills, you'll interact with internal departments and partner organisations to secure their commitment to our charitable CR programmes.

Responsibilities :
Volunteering and fundraising:

  • Planning, recruiting, training, implementing and evaluating volunteering activity including team challenges and fundraising initiatives
  • Capturing all relevant volunteering data for reporting purposes
  • Managing and responding to all volunteering requests
  • Overseeing all volunteering activity

Community investment:
  • Support in development of CR policy and strategy
  • Keeping a record of activities for benchmarking purposes
  • Working with colleagues in the planning and delivery of various local events
  • Managing the digital M&G in the Community Fund including applications, quarterly virtual meetings and charitable donations payments
  • Responding to charitable queries and requests for grant funding

Reporting:
  • Data collection - helping to keep up to date records on charity and community numbers
  • Record/track volunteer activity on central database

Communications:
  • Co-ordination of communications across the business of flagship and volunteering programmes, team challenges and regional events
  • Organising photography and videography of current programmes and team challenges to use in promotional materials and on the intranet
  • Updating community intranet pages and external website content
  • Managing inbox and rejection letters/communications
  • Creating reports to illustrate community activity across M&G Prudential
  • Gathering and drafting content for social media, external and internal communications

Skills and Knowledge, essential:
  • Understanding of Corporate Responsibility (CR) and Sustainable Development (SD) issues with a commercial perspective
  • Capable of developing further understanding of business specific CR and SD issues
  • Project management experience
  • Strong communication focus
  • Excellent written skills
