About the Job:

  • You’ll manage your own given territory of new and existing customers with regular travel to their manufacturing sites overseas (mainly Europe).
  • Create new business opportunities for existing or new products, reconstruction, automation, spare parts and services.
  • Provide the customers with market knowledge, technical information on product and to identify business development opportunities.
  • You’ll collaborate with product owners and engineering departments to develop products.
  • Provide quotations, deal with enquiries, prepare contractual information.
  • You will lead and drive technical and commercial discussions with customers.
  • You will maintain effective communication and cooperation with the relevant business units and departments within the Group.
  • You will be the “one face to the customer” for all commercial aspects.
  • This role will require overseas travel several times per year.


About You:

  • You will have experience of sales in a high-value capital equipment manufacturing company.
  • You’ll have engineering experience and engineering qualifications as this is a technical sell. Ideally HND or above in an engineering discipline.
  • You’ll be inquisitive, tenacious, a confident communicator of course, a natural sales person who loves developing relationships with customers.
  • You will be happy with international travel, as there will be lots of time spent onsite with customers, predominantly in Europe.
  • You will be well-organised and a self-motivated individual and will leaving no stone unturned where opportunities are concerned. You will have impeccable attention to detail.
