You will be the face of Agfa Inkjet in the north of the United Kingdom, promoting Agfa’s Inkjet solutions to new prospects and existing customers. You are a major contributor to the business growth of Agfa Inkjet in the UK and Ireland through professional sales and account management through direct sales and sales through Agfa’s existing dealer and agent network.


The Key Aims of the Role

  • Achieve established sales quota in assigned territory across all sales channels (direct, dealers, agents)
  • Use available resources within the Inkjet team and outside manufacturer representatives to drive new business in the assigned geographic area.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to create long term partnerships between Agfa and its customers.
  • Arrange prospect and customer visits to Agfa’s national and international Inkjet Competence Centres (showrooms).
  • Develop and execute Win Strategies by applying value sales methods and move each project successfully through the complete sales and delivery cycle.
  • Work with the service organisation to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain full responsibility for an accurate forecast on Agfa’s CRM and ERP tools.
  • Maintain a comprehensive overview of the competitive landscape.
  • Represent Agfa UK & Ireland at national and international trade fairs, conferences, and other industry events.
  • Actively contribute to Agfa UK & Ireland’s marketing strategy including Agfa’s local Inkjet Competence Centre.


Education

Degree preferred or equivalent through experience.


Experience

Ideally 3 years direct selling in the inkjet market. Candidates with good track record in hardware or consumable sales will also be considered.


Specific skills

Accountability to establish and build strong client relationships over time that allow for continuity

  • Knowledge/understanding of printing in general and/or Agfa Inkjet products
  • Experience in selling and cross selling of solutions and products
  • Experience including generating own business leads
  • Driven by success in hitting sales targets
  • Commercial and financial forecasting awareness
  • Experience using CRM systems, e.g. Microsoft Dynamics experience is an advantage.


We are looking for a team player to work independently.


Geography: North of England, ideally Leeds, Manchester.
