Autism Support Assistant - Unqualified

A creative and inclusive Primary School are looking for confident, ambitious and outgoing Autism Support Assistants to provide support for pupils with various Special Educational Needs, mainly focusing on Autism support. They are looking for confident and compassionate Autism Support Assistants to join the team ASAP.


The following roles will start ASAP as full-time roles across EYFS KS1 & KS2…

  • Autism Support Assistant - Unqualified - 1:1 ASD Provision


You will be working alongside a motivated team of specialist teachers, various therapists, and inclusion staff as an Autism Support Assistant, helping manage the classroom environment, creating exciting activities and delivering tailored interventions to pupils.


The ideal candidate for this Autism Support Assistant - Unqualified role would be a graduate searching for an opportunity to start their career in education, or an individual passionate about Autism who is looking to work alongside the best specialist staff and teachers.


Additionally, this is a perfect role to provide a valuable experience for aspiring Psychologist, ASD teachers, Therapist, Primary School Teachers and more.

  • £105 per day - Paid Weekly
  • Full-time, full academic year, term-time only
  • Based in Hackney


About the Autism Support Assistant - Unqualified Role

  • Provide support for pupils across EYFS, KS1 & KS2 with ASDD requirements
  • Use your creativity and imagination to excite the pupils
  • High quality and bespoke CPD will be provided
  • Strong inclusion team to support you


Ideal Autism Support Assistant - Unqualified

  • A passion for education and creating an inspirational environment for all pupils to flourish within
  • Previous experience working with children
  • Creative and confident to use your innovation to create fun and exciting activities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion in supporting those with Special Educational Needs
