As the Mitchum/Cutex Brand manager you will work with Senior Brand Manager to:
- Be the brand champion & category expert, provide direction and vision to the wider business on the market, competitors, the consumer and the brand to deliver YoY growth objectives.
- Contribute to the development of the UK brand strategy and actively lead the execution of plans working with cross functional teams and agencies.
- Support the delivery of the agreed commercial targets by inspiring and engaging our customers and consumers, developing inspirational brand campaigns, launching NPD and managing products portfolio.
Key Accountabilities
- To support the Senior Brand Manager on development and implementation of marketing activities across all areas of the marketing mix, working collaboratively with Global team and external agencies where needed on elements such as media planning, advertising, consumer promotions, POS, PR and sampling in line with budget.
- To execute the brand activation plans both in store and online for each annual planning cycle in line with brand guidelines and across different retailers.
- Constantly evaluating the effectiveness of marketing activities adjusting plans in line with learnings.
- Identify and communicate local brand asset needs to the global teams.
- Contribute to the development of NPD and portfolio strategy for the UK, leveraging consumer insights including trends, innovation, consumer need-state and retailer landscape.
- To work closely with UK Supply Chain and Sales ensuring that all NPD projects for brand/categories meet brand and business objectives, are delivered to a high standard and on time
- Contribute to the development of brand and category insights utilising sell-in, consumption, brand and shopper data.
- Maintain analysis of the competitive environment for both brand and retailer, identifying and communicating insights to the wider team and ensuring appropriate action is taken in response.
- To lead regular analysis of the competitive environment for both brand and retailer, clearly identifying and communicating insights to the wider team and ensuring appropriate action is taken in response (Product, Pricing, Comms activity, Investment).
- Manage consumer research to better understand brand equity performance and refine consumer strategy. Understanding how best to engage, educate and win our consumers, ensuring the outputs are reflected in the subsequent plans.
- Collaborate with sales teams to actively engage key retailers gaining alignment and participation in product and communication plans.
- To manage Brand marketing budget(s) to ensure that investment decisions proposed and implemented are rigorously assessed and reviewed in line with current business processes
- To establish strong working relationships with internal & external stakeholders.
Preferred & Required Skills:
- Experience: 1+ years’ experience in a Brand manager role and a passion and understanding for the FMCG or beauty category and UK retail environment.
- FMCG or Beauty Marketing experience preferred
- Relevant brand campaign marketing experience across all channels: ATL, BVOD, digital, social and PR.
- Understanding and experience of activation digital campaigns
- Trade / Customer marketing experience

- Ambitious self-starter with an ability to work in a fast moving environment & the capacity to think creatively.

- Project management – takes full responsibility for their outputs and the quality of all deliverables ensuring the most efficient route is taken.
