Tropicana is the UK’s no1 chilled juice brand (worth £200m RSV) and a top 50 most loved consumer brand in the UK but the category is becoming commoditised. We need to shift the narrative from ‘juice is juice’ to ‘Tropicana is THAT Juice’ and build next-level brand differentiation and fame for the brand. Our focus is on strengthening the brands’ position at the heart of the British breakfast, whilst also selectively opening up new occasions and audiences for juice and juice-based drinks.
Tropicana Brands Group UK is now looking for a Marketing Brand Manager.
Working as part of a relatively small and entrepreneurial brand and insights team, you’ll play a crucial role in growing the Tropicana brand; helping to transform penetration, share, and brand equity and in turn drive financial growth.

Principle Accountabilities of the role :
- Lead the growth strategy for the non-chilled juice part of the Tropicana portfolio; Tropicana Kids, Ambient juice and juice drinks, with a focus on activation and partnerships, renovation and innovation.
- Own the performance of Tropicana’s non chilled portfolio, working closely with insights team and category to be one step ahead on performance, drivers, and proactively recommending interventions & ensuring actionable insights are fed back into the business as required.
- You will be instrumental in the portfolio strategy, where you will evaluate the performance of different product ranges, propose strategic skus and lead continual improvement and new product development projects.
- Lead the renovation and innovation strategy and pipeline for Tropicana non-chilled across packaging and product.
- Develop communications plans for Tropicana, with a focus on partnerships, PR, and experiential. You will also partner with the head of social and digital and the shopper marketing teams in the ideation and execution of cultural head-snap content moments for the brand.
This list covers the main duties you will undertake but other duties will be required and added to as
required to meet project and business needs. Flexibility to support the business is essential to the role.
The candidate successful in the role will :
- Be Creative and full of ideas – you will find innovative and resourceful ways to connect with our consumers and retailers.
- Have Digitally native, and with a passion for building brands into culture.
- Be Analytical and performance minded. You will be able to leverage a range of data sources to identify the key performance drivers and recommend actions.
- Be restless to win in the market and deliver top-tier performance. You have an ‘act like it is your business’ mentality and sense of accountability.
- Be great communicator both verbally and in written comms, able to land your key messages and win hearts and minds.
- Be able to work well cross functionally. Essential in Tropicana Brands Group is the ability to work across teams with the outcome of winning and flying together.
- Be Highly curious, and consumer centric with natural passion for brands, and takes a proactive interest in consumer trends and behaviour.
- Be wired for action, highly proactive, know when to move into execution & act with pace, are entrepreneurial & willing to take some risks
This role is based in Farringdon and it will be required to come to the office 3 days a week.
