About Us:

Role Overview:

As a Paralegal specialising in real estate and plot sales, you will play a crucial role in supporting the legal team with a variety of tasks related to property transactions. This position requires a meticulous and proactive individual with a deep understanding of the legal processes involved in real estate and plot sales.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist solicitors and legal executives with all aspects of residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales, purchases, and leases.
  • Manage a caseload of plot sales transactions from instruction through to post-completion.
  • Conduct title investigations and prepare reports on title.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, transfer deeds, and lease agreements.
  • Liaise with clients, developers, estate agents, and other third parties to ensure smooth and timely transactions.
  • Perform due diligence, including reviewing planning permissions, building regulations, and other relevant documentation.
  • Handle pre-completion and post-completion formalities, including Stamp Duty Land Tax returns and Land Registry applications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and case management systems.
  • Provide administrative support to the legal team, including file management, scheduling, and correspondence.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 years of experience as a Paralegal with a focus on real estate and plot sales.
  • Comprehensive understanding of property law, conveyancing processes, and plot sales transactions.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused approach.
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
