Team Leader
Angove Partners is seeking a team leader to join our London team. This role is perfect for experienced recruiters looking to step into a leadership position within a consultative and high-performing company specializing in the Insurance and Financial Services markets. As a Recruitment Agency Team Leader, you will oversee a team of high performing recruiters focused on placing high-calibre candidates in these sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of recruiters, ensuring they meet KPIs and providing guidance for their professional growth and success.
- Oversee all aspects of the recruitment process, from sourcing and interviewing candidates to managing client relationships and ensuring successful placements in permanent roles.
- Ensure an excellent experience for both clients and candidates, building strong relationships and a reputation for high-quality service.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and nurture client relationships, and expand our market presence. Your strategic thinking and persuasive skills will drive our growth and establish strong professional relationships within the sector.
- Manage and close recruitment processes, ensuring consistency and optimisation of revenue streams. Implement strategies to improve efficiency and outcomes across the team.
- Advertise current vacancies, seek out referrals, and headhunt to attract high-quality candidates. Utilise innovative sourcing strategies to build a strong talent pipeline.
- Provide professional advice and insights, ensuring clients and candidates are well-informed and supported.
Who are we looking for?
- Experience in Insurance, Financial Services, or a similar professional services sector is desirable.
- 3 years working in a 360/full-desk model, encompassing both sales/account management and recruiting.
- A demonstrated track record in developing your own business and billings within a niche, candidate-short vertical discipline.
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team to achieve high performance.
- Motivated by providing a high-quality service that adds value to the team and the wider business.
- A critical thinker with a passion for finding creative solutions and delivering them.
- A growth mindset with the ability to turn challenges into opportunities and negatives into positives.
