Role Overview: Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their dynamic Birmingham team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects at different stages of design and construction. This role is ideal for someone looking to advance their career in a supportive and collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of design proposals, working closely with senior architects and project teams.
  • Produce high-quality drawings, models, and visualizations using industry-standard software.
  • Contribute to the development of detailed design packages and construction documentation.
  • Participate in design meetings, client presentations, and site visits.
  • Conduct research into materials, construction techniques, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.


Requirements:

  • Completed RIBA Part 2 qualification or equivalent.
  • Strong design and technical skills with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp.
  • Experience in producing detailed construction drawings and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and professional development.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within an architectural practice is desirable.
