About the Company:

We are looking to hire an experienced furniture Project Manager, to lead the planning and implementation of our furniture installation projects in the Midlands/North. With our five UK and four EU locations we service our customers across the EMEA region. About the Role:

The Project Manager role is a permanent, full-time position. Extensive knowledge of the furniture industry is highly desirable, and proven experience within a similar project management role is a must. Ideally you will have experience in handling large scale furniture projects and proven strategic planning, preferably with a technical understanding of aspects of architectural design, interior and furniture design. Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the definition of furniture project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Produce quotations for the Sales Manager based on furniture project specific requirements
  • Lead the planning and implementation of projects
  • Manage project budgets
  • Manage deliveries and installations for all projects
  • Supply chain management – assist with planning, improvement/development, logistics and distribution including the management of freight from overseas suppliers
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
  • Manage customer service and assess that we are meeting customer satisfaction goals
  • Oversee and make improvements to logistics & installation services


Required skills:

Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of Project Management with techniques and tools with proven experience in a Project Manager role with strategic planning. Experience in handling large scale projects is desirable and experience of furniture installation preferred. Strong analytical skills and experience of time management in a creative environment is essential. Technical understanding of aspects of architectural design, interior and furniture design.
