As the Client Service Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the protection of procurement contracts across their key client portfolio. The Client Services Manager will play a key part in client retention and growth acting as a pivotal conduit to internal teams including procurement, account directors, new business and client support functions.

As the Client Services Manager your role will be responsible for the following:

  • Ensuring proactive management of existing procurement contracts and their renewals
  • Identifying, scoping and implementing internal processes and reporting to support contract retention, including the enhancement of client health reports
  • Project manage the procurement services process to enable a fully serviced procurement model to be delivered
  • Work closely with the Account Directors on the implementation of new procurement service contract ensuring opportunities for renewal or renegotiation are identified in advanced
  • To support Account Directors in client development plans, renewal planning and contract tracking
  • Lead a small team in the delivery of the above

As the Client Services Manager you’ll work in a dynamic, evolving environment where being a solution finder is key. You’ll be accountability for driving the above activities and also seeking out opportunities to enhance existing processes. For the Client Services Manager position the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following experience:

  • Experience of working within a role that looks at the procurement contract life cycle. You don’t necessarily need to be a procurement expert for this role but knowledge of timescales and processes and analysis of procurement contracts is needed
  • Experience of working within hospitality or another food service led business (within a commercial, procurement or project led capacity)
  • Data driven, you can demonstrate where you have analysed data and used the results to impact decision making
  • Excellent communication skills and a can evidence where you have influenced stakeholders and their decision making or ways of working
  • Experience of managing supply chains and product sourcing or development would be an advantage
