Alongside this role, they will be forming a new Digital Transformation Team, marking a strategic shift towards a data-centric technology framework, moving away from traditional application-focused systems. This team is pivotal in implementing a cutting-edge AI strategy to enhance their existing cloud-based platforms across data science, front office research, and risk management sectors.


Key Objectives:

  • Data integration across various Commodity Trading and Risk Management Systems (CTRM).
  • Adoption of cloud-native software delivery to optimize operations by integrating various scalable, independent services.
  • Efficient capture of extensive unstructured data.
  • Utilisation of sophisticated data routing to support trading decisions and enhance operational efficiency.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead collaborative efforts within the Digital Transformation Team, focusing on areas such as Document AI, Business Process Digitalisation, and Strategic Systems Integration.
  • Design and develop a comprehensive data architecture, establish microservices, and create standard application design patterns and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Contribute to shaping the digital strategy in alignment with broader business goals.


Ideal Candidate Profile: The ideal candidate must have deep knowledge of commodities trading systems and be a visionary leader skilled in navigating complex digital transformations in trading environments, with a proven track record in strategic planning, technical leadership, and collaborative execution.
