We are looking to recruit a meticulous Residential Conveyancer with three years of PQE to join our team and handle property transactions. The ideal candidate will manage the legal aspects of buying and selling residential properties.


DUTIES:


  1. Manage Comprehensive Property Transactions: You will handle the complete process for various property types, including registered and unregistered properties, freehold and leasehold, grants of leases, assignments of leases, enfranchisement, auctioned properties, and repossessed properties.
  2. Caseload Management: Efficiently handle approximately fifty-five pre-exchange files at any given time, ensuring each case is moving towards completion.
  3. Effective Communication: To expedite case progress, maintain proactive and prompt email and telephone communication with solicitors, clients, estate agents, mortgage advisors, and lenders.
  4. Expectation Management: Skilfully manage the expectations of clients and referrers, ensuring transparency and clarity at every stage.
  5. Utilise Case Management Systems: Operate within our cloud-based sophisticated case management system to manage cases efficiently from initiation to completion.
  6. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key industry players like estate agents and mortgage advisors to secure high levels of service recommendation.
  7. Compliance Adherence: Address any issues the Compliance Officer raises swiftly and effectively.
  8. Business Development: Actively participate in business development activities to open new channels for case referrals.
  9. Networking: Engage in networking and other relevant events to foster business growth and professional relationships.
  10. Responsive Collaboration: Respond promptly to requests from the Business Development Team to support marketing efforts.
  11. Continuous Learning: Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and stay updated with industry practices.
  12. Team Management: Based on your experience and knowledge, you may be asked to manage a small team of assistant conveyancers working on cases under your supervision and guidance.
  13. Training and Presentation: You will be pivotal in knowledge sharing and team development by providing presentations and training sessions to colleagues on conveyancing practices & procedures and changes in the law. Your contributions to these educational efforts will enhance our team’s capabilities and affirm your position as a thought leader within our firm.

This is an on-site position located at our Central London office. Standard working hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, promoting a balanced work-life dynamic.
