About You:


You're a dedicated photography enthusiast with a profound understanding of the industry. Your professional background in creating and researching photography content has given you the skills to confidently and efficiently manage a range of projects, including photo commissions, image research, and licensing.


You possess excellent communication skills, resourcefulness, problem-solving ingenuity, dependability, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to rapid changes. Above all, you are committed to upholding Client’s high standards of quality.


Key Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of relevant experience in photo research, licensing, editing, and photo production.
  • Proficiency in Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of Smartsheet and Orange Logic is a plus.
  • A passion for travel storytelling and the Client Brands.


Additional Requirements:


  • Deep knowledge of the current photography industry, from global photographers to stock vendors, editorial to commercial resources, with an emphasis on BIPOC and diverse voices.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, fostering strong vendor partnerships and internal relationships.
  • A refined aesthetic sense and a passion for visual storytelling, with a continuous drive to discover new work and enhance the team’s visual library and pitch story ideas.
  • Experience in photography and video research, contracts, fee negotiations, and creative project management.
  • Expertise in licensing costs and project fees, providing informed advice on budgets while balancing creative goals with business priorities.
  • Understanding of image rights and legal clearance processes for both licensed and commissioned content.
  • Strong skills in budget management, digital organisation, and following clear processes while remaining flexible.
  • Positive attitude, high collaboration skills, eagerness to learn, and a willingness to tackle tasks outside your usual scope. A proactive and positive team player.
  • Confidence in working independently, creating work under minimal supervision, and presenting solutions to the broader creative team.
