A new vacancy has arisen for a driven and motivated Technical Coordinator to join an established regional housing development business in Devon, due to successful and continued growth.


To compliment their long standing and experienced team with an a additional coordinator, to support technical managers and also work towards running their own sites depending on what stage the development is.


The company have ambitious yet achievable growth plans and would like to bring in the additional staff to future proof the department and hopefully train up the next generation of technical managers over the coming years.


You will work closely with experienced Senior/Technical Managers on 1 -2 sites located in the local areas. As the technical coordinator will be involved in projects from design stage through to post completion. You will assist with managing engineering and working drawing packages with the aim of building homes to a high standard whilst obtaining all necessary technical approvals. You will support the TM with projects to ensure deadlines are met.


Attributes and experience required:


  • Proven experience working in a similar role, ideally 2 years
  • Experienced within the house building field
  • Good technical knowledge
  • Good understanding of the planning process
  • Good knowledge of section agreements including 104 & 38
  • Confident in supporting on large sites
  • Organised
  • Commercially aware
  • Strong communicator
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment
  • Driven and self motivated


Happy to consider both experienced Coordinators and assistant / trainee tc’s, who are looking to stay as a coordinator for at least the next 2 years before stepping up to technical manager.
