This role can be based in York/Leeds/Manchester/Newcastle. The Learning, Talent & Development (L&T) Business Partner role is designed to strategically partner with business leaders within their relevant business function. They will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning journey for all and will be instrumental in building key stakeholder networks, you will have a deep understanding of the divisional business plans and capability gaps, analysing current and future learning needs. In this role you will be working collaboratively with the senior leadership teams and the People Business partner teams, you will ensure the effective delivery of talent and performance management processes to build individual, team and organisational capability. You will advise and embed value-add learning & development that enables the delivery of the medium to long term strategic workforce people plans.


The Business Partner will be expected to work closely with the Academy Lead, Leadership Development Design & Delivery Lead, HRBPs and Talent Acquisition BPs to enable the delivery of the medium to long term strategic workforce people plans.


To be successful in this role we are seeking someone who offers:

  • Recent and strong experience in OD at a strategic level
  • Ability to think strategically and create long term plans that deliver the business objectives
  • Ideally experience within an Engineering environment (or similar) and be based near York/Leeds/Manchester/Newcastle
  • Strong stakeholder management at the Senior Leadership level with the ability to influence and drive change
  • Expertise in developing and implementing innovative and high impact talent management & leadership development interventions
  • Proven ability to proactively use best practices, data, and insights while staying up-to[1]date with the latest trends
  • Experience of building a robust organisational capability plan, aligned to the business strategy, which will proactively meet current and future business needs whilst having a positive impact on business performance
  • Experienced in playing a key role in designing and implementing learning and talent solutions that enhance employee skills, drive performance, and nurture a learning culture
  • Experience of working collaboratively across teams in a matrix organisation


This role offers a salary of up to £65k plus a great suite of benefits.
