What You'll Be Doing
As a Technical Sales Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our growth, helping to solve emerging challenges for a diverse customer base that includes B2B partners, installers, and end-users. You'll play a crucial role in expanding our network of sales partners and installers, driving sales growth through repeat installations and ensuring that our partners have the technical knowledge and support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Growth: Expand Homely installations by providing expert technical support to sales partners and installers.
- Develop Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with existing and new sales partners, empowering them to sell and install Homely products in line with both their goals and our company mission.
- Deliver Technical Training: Conduct remote and on-site training sessions for new installers, ensuring they are fully prepared to install and support Homely products.
- Manage Relationships: Oversee ongoing relationships with partners and installers, providing technical assistance, resolving issues, facilitating training, and managing interactions.
- Support Customer Success: Work alongside the Customer Success team to deliver exceptional support, contributing to a collaborative and agile team culture.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with the product, marketing, and customer success teams to improve resources such as the website, FAQs, and support documentation.
- Lead Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new partners, continuously enhancing training materials and guides to ensure they are effective and up-to-date.
- Optimize Processes: Identify and implement improvements to workflows, incorporating automation where possible to enhance efficiency.
- Coordinate Marketing and Support: Work with internal teams to identify and execute marketing and support strategies that meet partner needs.
- Monitor Performance: Track and analyse sales and partner performance, providing insights and recommendations for growth and improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- At least two years of experience in a technical sales or support role.
- Experience or knowledge of installing heating systems or hardware in to domestic customer homes would be advantageous, but not essential.
- A proactive, creative thinker who can identify and develop new business opportunities that align with both partner needs and Homely's mission.
- Strong account management skills and the ability to support technical products with confidence and clarity.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to draw conclusions from data and make recommendations for growth and improvement.
- A confident communicator who can represent Homely at events and clearly articulate our value proposition.
- A collaborative team player who thrives on developing and bringing new ideas to market quickly and effectively.
- Results-oriented, with a hands-on approach to achieving goals.
- Enthusiasm for playing a role in the global energy transition.
- A passion for contributing to a greener, low-carbon future.
