Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced UK Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive global brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth. This role requires a creative thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for the game of golf.

Role responsibilities

  • Lead the marketing function with accountability for managing the full marketing mix and delivering multiple projects.
  • Develop and implement marketing plans and campaigns to promote product brands.
  • Initiate, build, and maintain strong relationships with retail, media, agency, and industry partners.
  • Manage and develop CRM systems to enhance customer engagement and retention.
  • Manage digital marketing efforts, including social media and email marketing.
  • Responsible for the creation of marketing materials, including press releases, point of sale, advertisements, product literature and website content.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing strategies with sales objectives.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Manage the marketing budget and ensure cost-effective use of resources.


Candidate experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within the golf or sports goods industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across multiple trade channels and customers.
  • Strong understanding of premium brand management and digital marketing tools and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the gravitas to influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Energetic, dynamic individual with a hands-on approach and can-do attitude.
  • Passion for golf and knowledge of the industry is a plus.
