Online and in person, HBI helps business professionals at operators, suppliers, investors and their advisors to identify new opportunities, achieve their investment goals, expand their professional networks and gain competitive advantage.


Due to expansion, we are wishing to add a Delegate Sales Executive to our friendly and supportive team.


This is a permanent position reporting to the Senior Delegate Sales Manager working hybrid pattern of Monday / Wednesday / Friday in our north London office and the rest at home.


The role carries a basic salary and an uncapped commission structure, perks include private healthcare and 25 days holiday.


About you:

We are seeking a confident and organised individual, with 2 years B2B Sales experience. We are open to background but you must be confident in / or versed in speaking and pitching to MD’s and above. Our market includes healthcare but also finance, consultancy and legal disciplines. Delegate sales is a high volume role so you will be busy dealing with different stages of outreach and following up on a daily basis.


Working on a mixture of existing clients and new business they will take full ownership of their own outreach process via a mix or phone / mail and LinkedIn, create and manage a solid pipeline and closing sales to monthly targets. All helped along by our extensive in-house Journalist expertise, database and Marketing function. We have a great CRM of existing business and a high volume of inbound leads.


This person will possess first class listening and verbal skills, be consultative yet determined, focused and also be curious and adaptive in their approach to clients and their needs. They will wish to build and grow lasting and fruitful relationships within their network.


Day to day:

· Achieving or exceeding sales targets

· Delivering the right level of activity in line with KPIs

· Enquiry & lead follow-up

· Self-sourcing leads (using LinkedIn, Google etc.)

· Pipeline management & accurate forecasting

· Sharing customer & prospect feedback with marketing and events teams

Keeping CRM up to date, particularly with Opportunity & Contact details
