What you’ll do…

As a S&OP Manager, you will play a pivotal role in building and developing a the purpose of creating robust production plans and inventory management through coordinating, enhancing collaboration and facilitating consistent alignment amongst sales, manufacturing, direct purchase and supply chain operations. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong operational expertise, and effective team management skills to drive the success of supply chain operations.

This is a hybrid role initially but will eventually become site-based once our factory is up and running.

Reporting into the General Manager – Supply Chain Operations, you will:

  • Build and lead S&OP process for short term and long-term horizon.
  • Execute S&OP framework and components with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Act as process owner of S&OP process and manage a team of S&OP specialists.
  • Determine dynamic indicators to enable flagging misalignment and addressing risks.
  • Facilitate decision-making in regular S&OP meetings in order to generate optimal production plans

Agratas is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons. We will design, develop and manufacture high-quality, high-performance, sustainable batteries for the mobility and energy sectors. We are a scale-up business with a start-up mentality and the backing of a well-established parent company. The UK business headquarters is in the Midlands and we are currently building a battery manufacturing facility in Bridgwater, Somerset.


The team you’ll join…

You will be joining a dynamic group of driven individuals, specialising across many supply chain and logistics arenas. Being a relatively new department, you’ll play a critical part in creating purchasing and supply chain processes and a key driver of efficiency, cost-saving and sustainability within the organisation.


What you’ll bring…

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management/ business administration / engineering or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience of building and leading a S&OP function within manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with process design and optimisation within the S&OP area.
  • Proficiency in using supply chain management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure smooth coordination and execution of supply chain activities.
