Social Value Coordinator

The successful candidate will work in the Eurovia delegations with all five business units: Eurovia Surfacing, EST, Eurovia Roadstone, PolyBitumens and JLUK.


Key tasks and accountabilities:

• Work very closely with the Social Value Manager

• Engaging and organising social value events with stakeholders, communities and various organisations related to Eurovia

• Work with all Eurovia business units to ensure full compliance and continued achievement of the companies Social Value targets and any unique projects.

• Engage with our internal teams, our clients and our supply chain in the development, delivery and implementation of project specific social value plans.

• Ensure social value and Environmental data is recorded, monitored and updated monthly and presented to the Business units and Senior Management team using a variety of databases and systems.

• Update and maintain monthly the social value activities tracker.

• Working with the Business Units produce outcome-based reports and case studies.

• Assist, research and report on Local Needs Analysis to inform our Social Value offering within bids and proposals.

• Assist with coordination and administration of all social value activities across the Eurovia delegation.

• Plan, execute, support and participate in social value activities in different settings for example, schools, jobcentres, community organisations linked to the individual business unit requirements in co-ordination with the Business Lead and Social Value Manager.

• Plan, create and assist the Social Value Manager with internal and external marketing and comms programmes.

• Work closely and support the operational teams with Social Value questions within bids and client proposals.


Skills required:

• IT literacy, particularly in using Microsoft packages such as Excel, Teams and SharePoint.


Knowledge:

• Awareness/ Experience of the National Social Value Themes Outcomes and Measurements (TOMS) or other social value calculators and able to input, run and produce social impact reports is desirable.


Personal qualities:

• Passion for the principles and values of Social Value.

• Empathy and understanding of social challenges and why they exist.

• Experience in planning, organising, and coordinating events.

• Efficient organisation skills. Ability to prioritise your workload and meet multiple deadlines with multiple teams and individuals.

• Detail oriented approach to administrative tasks.

• Enthusiastic team player and self-motivator.

• Able to communicate, manage and motivate.
