Join Us as a Compliance Manager


The Compliance Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of Changing Social’s compliance programs. This role involves ensuring the business meets regulatory requirements and industry standards, specifically focusing on legal obligations, data protection, contract management, and procurement processes.


The Compliance Manager will take ownership of customer procurement, negotiate contract terms, and maintain compliance with data protection and security standards (ICO, ISO). They will also manage internal insurance policies in line with customer requirements, ensuring all documentation is up to date.


Key Responsibilities:


Legal Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge:

  • Stay informed on legal and regulatory changes affecting the business, with a focus on data protection and security standards (ICO, ISO).
  • Ensure the company adheres to industry regulations and best practices, particularly in data protection and insurance.

Contract Review and Negotiation:

  • Review and negotiate customer contracts, including NDAs, T&Cs, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), and other legal agreements.
  • Manage customer procurement processes and ensure accurate record-keeping and timely updates on compliance matters.

Compliance Process Ownership:

  • Oversee the entire customer procurement process, from negotiation to completion of risk and security questionnaires.
  • Ensure all compliance documents are updated in both internal and external systems and that insights are shared with relevant teams.

Data Protection and Security:

  • Ensure regulatory compliance with data protection policies across jurisdictions, and lead audits or reviews in line with ICO, GDPR, and ISO standards.
  • Maintain and update risk management and compliance records for all security-related processes.

Insurance and Policy Management:

  • Manage and update the company's insurance policies based on customer requirements.
  • Ensure all policies meet the required standards and are maintained effectively.


Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Experience: Previous legal or compliance experience, particularly in reviewing contracts and managing regulatory processes.
  • Legal Understanding: Strong knowledge of legal terms, including NDAs, MSAs, and security compliance standards.
  • Data Protection Expertise: Hands-on experience with ICO, GDPR, and ISO compliance.
  • Contract Management: Proficiency in contract review, negotiation, and management.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple compliance projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and compliance with regulations.
  • Attention to Detail: Highly organised, with the ability to manage large volumes of documentation and compliance processes.
