They are seeking to appoint a Head of Venue Sales to lead and enhance the sales strategy for their 13 club locations, focusing on increasing revenue from various non-golf related events.

The Role


The Head of Venue Sales will be instrumental in shaping and executing a strategic sales plan aimed at significantly boosting revenue from conferences, events, meetings, and other functions. This role involves overseeing a team of Venue Sales Managers, ensuring a unified and effective approach across all sites. You will work closely with the Food and Beverage Operations Director to develop compelling event packages that integrate high-quality catering with attractive venue spaces. Additionally, you will monitor sales performance, analyse data, and provide strategic recommendations to the senior leadership team, all while ensuring that sales efforts support the organisations growth objectives and charitable mission.

The Candidate

We are looking for an experienced sales professional with a strong background in the hospitality or events industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving revenue growth and possess excellent leadership skills, as you will be managing and guiding a team of Venue Sales Managers. A strategic mindset and deep understanding of venue utilisation and revenue generation are crucial, along with strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with other teams.
