The Role

As a Graduate Data Scientist, you will help design and build machine learning models, which can provide insights and trends for the analytical data needs of the customer.


Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the full life cycle of an analytical machine learning model (MLOps) – including model selection, training, evaluation and tuning, deployment and monitoring and maintenance.
  • Create machine learning models and explore data analysis and data mining skills with data visualisation and reporting.
  • Gather application know-how necessary for design and implement new statistical or other mathematical methodologies as needed for specific models or analysis.

Your Profile

Key skills/knowledge/experience:

  • A degree in computer science, statistics, applied math or related field.
  • Good understanding of machine learning platforms (k-Nearest Neighbors, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests etc.), statistics and strong math foundation.
  • Good understanding of technologies like Python, R, SQL, Pyspark and any reporting/visualization tool.
  • Ability to analyse complex problems using information provided and data analysis, understand customer requests, and provide the appropriate solution.


Good to have:

  • Understanding of data warehouse concepts such as star and snowflake schema, data marts, data lakes and data Lakehouse.
  • Understanding of AWS stack of tools.
