Talent Manager – Workforce Management Platform (German-Speaking)
Location: Hybrid (1 day minimum in office)
Salary: Up to £40k + (£52k OTE)
Are you a passionate recruiter who thrives on connecting the right talent to the right opportunities, but prefer to focus on matching over business development? If so, we want to hear from you
We’re partnering with an exciting high-growth tech scale-up that’s revolutionizing the way creative, digital, and marketing freelancers find work. This innovative platform is reshaping how top-tier freelancers in fields like design, development, photography, copywriting, and more connect with clients who need their expertise.
About the Role:
As a Talent Manager for the workforce management platform, you’ll be a key point of contact for a major creative agency client, based in Germany. You’ll help them navigate the platform to source and secure the best freelance talent for their projects, ensuring a perfect match between candidates and briefs. Your focus will be on providing exceptional service and supporting the agency’s recruitment needs, while also educating clients on how to use the platform effectively.
Talent Managers work closely with the platform’s database of CVs, leveraging both internal tools and external networks to find qualified candidates for the client.
They ensure that candidates are a good fit for specific client briefs, considering skills, experience, and project requirements. This often involves using the platform's tools to filter and recommend the best candidates for each role.
The Talent Manager might also be involved in assessing candidates, reviewing portfolios, and conducting interviews to ensure the talent is qualified before presenting them across to clients.
What You’ll Do:
- Support a creative agency in Germany with their freelance recruitment needs, sourcing top-tier talent for a variety of briefs using the platform’s database of freelancers and contract workers
- Educate clients, helping them understand the platform and best practices for sourcing freelancers/deliver platform demos
- Be a trusted advisor, matching the right freelancers to the right projects based on skillset, experience, and client requirements.
- Work closely with the platform’s sales and operations teams to ensure smooth client experiences and a seamless talent pipeline.
- Build and nurture relationships with freelancers, ensuring high satisfaction and ongoing engagement with the platform.
What We’re Looking For:
- 1+ years’ recruitment experience, either in-house, agency
- Fluency in both German and English (written and spoken) - crucial
- Strong commercial acumen, with a proven ability to hit and exceed targets.
- Excellent communication skills: You’re a great listener and an even better communicator, able to engage with a variety of stakeholders.
- A team player with a positive, solution-focused attitude.
- A genuine desire to learn and develop your skills in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience in recruiting for creative agencies or understanding how creative teams are structured.
- Ideally, you have a network of your own creative/digital freelancers and contract workers to leverage for your client
- Experience working in a dynamic, start-up environment, where every day brings something new and exciting.
If you're ready to take the next step in your recruitment career and apply your experience-to-date in-house, at a game-changing tech-platform, we’d love to hear from you
