Our client, a high-growth tech & entertainment business backed by one of the world’s leading private equity firms, is looking for an exceptional VP Talent & Culture. You will play a critical role in the achievement of their enormous ambitions, making culture a key differentiator and source of distinct competitive advantage.


Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will be accountable for a broad remit, encompassing Leadership Development, Culture & Colleague Engagement, Performance & Talent Management, and Internal Communications. You will lead the thinking, and the subsequent execution and associated communications of initiatives to embed the culture and associated behaviours required to deliver the business' ambitious plans.


What will you be doing?

  • Turbocharging growth by successfully aligning the talent management agenda to the broader organisational transformation agenda (both the delivery of growth and transition to a product-led organisation)
  • Defining the appropriate team structure, then building and inspiring a lean team of experienced and talented colleagues to support the delivery of an ambitious Talent & Culture agenda
  • Landing a well-socialised group-wide approach to Talent Management, agreed with buy-in gained from leadership across the business
  • Landing a performance management framework with behaviours embedded and linked to reward
  • Delivering clear improvements in colleague sentiment, with behaviours embedded in performance evaluations
  • Working with leaders across the business to facilitate L&D programmes and interventions to support the achievement of business and culture objectives
  • Radically improving output in talent acquisition to make the organisation a magnet for talent and increase talent density across the business
  • Implementing a new approach to succession planning, resulting in an increase in the percentage of roles being filled internally

  • A proven driver of change who is able to evidence having meaningfully impacted an organisation's culture
  • Able to evidence how you have adapted to provide support, challenge, and inspiration as and when required to a culturally diverse range of colleagues
  • Able to influence and successfully navigate matrix organisations
  • Data-led, grounding all decisions in data and insights with the ability to synthesise complex data into actionable insights
  • Low maintenance and with a high degree of independence, you will be capable of operating effectively whilst juggling multiple priorities and stakeholders
  • Someone with experience of working in successfully scaled and scaling international tech businesses
