Accounts Payable - Job Description

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor as part of the AP team. You will be involved in a variety of accounting responsibilities to provide a professional and timely accounting service in respect of all payments through the Accounts Payable. This is a 6 month FTC with a comptetitive salary of £26,200 pro rata.

Duties Include:

  • Ensure that invoices processed are correctly calculated, approved and code
  • Ensure correct Vat rules are applied to invoices processed
  • Prepare and review weekly payment run
  • Proudreed monthly cheque run
  • Verification and maintaining the database
  • New Supplier set
  • Check and reconcile supplier statements
  • Liaise with suppliers concerning invoice queries
  • Ensure that invoices are processed in a timely manner
