What is the role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate Recruiter with a business development mindset to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about connecting top talent with exceptional career opportunities.


In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for both sourcing and screening high-calibre, predominantly degree level candidates, as well as building relationships with hiring managers to understand their evolving talent needs.


Key Responsibilities include, (but not limited to):

1. Creation and posting job advertisements in line with ours and our clients requirements. Drawing upon your existing experience and knowledge to select the most effective job boards. Proposing tailored recruiting solutions to meet hiring requirements.

2. Use of platforms including LinkedIn to search for potential candidates. Utilising search methods and advanced filters on job boards and professional networks to find candidates with specific skills and experience.

3. Establish a CRM or Applicant Tracking System to create time efficient communications and recruitment processes across the Clerkin Consulting team.

4. Screening of applicants to assess skillset, experience and eligibility. Evaluation of availability, salary expectations, and initial impression of fit. Coordination of interviews.

5. Meeting with department heads to understand business goals and designing customised recruitment strategies to address and fulfil specific hiring needs

6. Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients by offering exceptional recruitment services and becoming a trusted advisor. Understand clients' unique needs and tailor solutions to address their specific challenges.

7. Business Development: Play an active role is business development initiatives to grow our portfolio of clients across Ireland and the UK.


The ideal candidate will possess:

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in a recruitment or business development role, ideally with exposure to both graduate and experienced hire recruitment

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with candidates and internal stakeholders

· The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively to meet hiring needs and develop new business

· Outstanding organisational and multitasking capabilities to manage multiple searches and client relationships

· A customer-service oriented approach to provide a premium experience for candidates and hiring managers

· Knowledge of built environment, building materials and manufacturing industries plus project management terminology and principles

· A passion for innovation and a commitment to staying at the forefront of industry advancements
