About the Team and Role


Our Claims team is at the front of the Inigo business, partnering with Underwriters to find solutions for our Clients. We have the highest quality and most experienced claims professionals ready to respond immediately when Clients need us most, helping them recover from disasters, resolving the most complex issues, as well as helping them learn from losses. At Inigo Claims we foster collaboration with all internal and external stakeholders, providing the highest quality customer service and continuous improvement.



The position is for a Claims Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start and build their career in Insurance working within our Claims team. The role will work closely with the Property and Natural Resources teams.



The successful candidate will do this by:



  • Effectively and proactively controlling a portfolio of claims by ensuring communications, new claims and notifications are dealt with in a timely manner and that any trends are identified and reported to relevant stakeholders.
  • Providing oversight and direction related to coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation, reserving and proactive resolution of a book of product specific claims in accordance with agreed authority and Claims best practice guidelines
  • Providing superior customer service to policy holders and brokers, identifying where customer experience can be improved.
  • Supporting underwriters and key stakeholders in connection with claim trends, marketing and business development
  • Interacting with and supporting management and all other relevant internal stakeholders with a view to effectively support underwriting growth and profitability
  • Providing support and insight to data and trends within the book of business.
  • Working closely with the underwriters in reporting claims
  • Supporting the claims operations team to generate reports, monitor SLA’s, recover funds from 3rd parties and other ad hoc activities.

  • Previous experience in London Market essential
  • A minimum of 2 years experience handling property claims
  • Experience of the Lloyds claims scheme
  • Experience dealing with loss adjusters, lawyers and forensic accountants
  • Experience in handling CAT claims
