MacGregor Black are partnering with a global Wine Producer & Distributor on the search for a National Account Manager. This is a perm role preferably based in Greater Manchester, but open to other areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead negotiations, manage P&L responsibilities, and oversee tendering and pitching processes to secure new business and maintain existing accounts.
- Create and implement strategic sales plans to increase market share and drive revenue growth.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with top-tier grocery retailers.
- Represent the company at UK and international trade shows, as well as at winery visits.
- Work closely with the internal team, contributing to a collaborative and supportive work environment.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
What We're Looking For:
- Established NAM with a strong background in the wine industry and connections within top-tier grocery retailers.
- WSET certification or working towards a diploma.
- Proven experience in P&L management, negotiation, and tendering/pitching processes.
- A team player with a small team mentality, willing to roll up your sleeves and take ownership of your area.
- A strong character who is proactive, driven, and adaptable.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers, attend trade shows, and visit wineries.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Salary – Up to £70k + Car Allowance + Benefits
