Job overview / purpose

Please note that this position is a 12-18 month maternity cover. However, there is potential for this role to transition into a full-time permanent position as the business continues to grow.

To provide support to the Chief Partner Officer (CPO) and the commercial team in managing the process and transactional elements of Transparity’s Microsoft partnership. The role is key as part of our ongoing growth to ensure consistency across all facets of our partnership. The primary purpose of this role will be to incrementally increase the amount of incentives, funding programs and customer attach we achieve across our customer base.

This person will act as the primary point of contact for our sales team for Microsoft incentives & funding programs. They will also be required to work closely with our finance team on all aspects of Microsoft invoicing and proof of execution requirements set out by Microsoft. A key part of this role will be providing Microsoft with regular forecasting updates along with managing our Microsoft Partner Centre portal which includes areas such as – incentives, Microsoft referrals.

In addition this role will include managing the ongoing partnership with key Microsoft contacts and ensuring we develop existing and build new relationships with Microsoft contacts. The successful candidate will be expected to interface with Microsoft and represent our business in the relevant forums along with helping support the delivery of our Microsoft Relationship Strategy.


Main duties and responsibilities

Microsoft Partnership

  • Managing the following elements of our Microsoft partnership;
  1. Partner funding programs – MCI Workshops, Partner Cybersecurity In Azure Migration & Modernisation Program (AMMP), End Customer Incentive Funding (ECIF)
  2. Partner incentives – Claiming Partner of Record (CPOR), Partner Admin Link (PAL)
  • Support the FastTrack manager to increase CPOR registrations and incentives
  • Support the Chief Partner Officer to manage all administrative aspects of our Microsoft partnership
  • Provide regular updates to internal staff on Microsoft program and incentives changes


Sales & Marketing

  • Be the primary point of contact for our sales team for Microsoft incentives and programs
  • Support the sales team to increase customer attach rates across the incentive and funding programs
  • Regular updating of sales opportunities in Microsoft partner centre
  • Support the marketing team with MDF funding claims, POE and CO-OP claiming process


Finance & Forecasting

  • Support the finance team with Microsoft invoicing and payments
  • Process and report on monthly incentive payments (e.g CPOR)
  • Provide regular forecast reports Microsoft contacts as required


Skills, experience and qualifications

  • Must have experience of managing Microsoft Partner Centre
  • Must have experience of working within the Microsoft partner ecosystem
  • Must have experience selling the Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) licensing program
  • Must have high level of IT proficiency
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must have good organisational skills
  • Must have the ability to build and manage relationships with vendors (e.g Microsoft)
  • Desirable for candidate to have achieved one or more of the Microsoft Fundamentals certifications
  • Desirable for candidate to have an existing network of Microsoft contacts
