Well, we have an exciting opportunity for an immediately available Agile Delivery Lead to join us on an initial 3 month contract, with hybrid working where you must be willing to travel to our Reading office 1 day per week.


We are seeking an experienced Agile Delivery Lead to enable the successful delivery of the product team outcomes, a delivery lead orchestrates the system of work, sequencing of activities and management of dependencies across teams. They sit across product teams as part of the product operational model.


Responsibilities:

• Ensure visibility of work across product teams.

• Assess and connect the dependencies between products in a given domain.

• Assess and connect external dependencies and orchestrates prioritisation and sequencing conversations.

• Communicate the dependencies between products into stakeholders.

• Manage the dependencies between products in a given domain to ensure that changes are made in a co-ordinated way.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive plans, objectives, milestones, and timelines.

• Facilitate team of teams in our system of work and help drive impediment resolution and sharing of learnings.

• Coach and support teams to improve performance within the system of work, e.g. understand and improving velocity of cycle time.

• Lead the team to understand the outcomes needed to be completed within a period of time (annual/ quarter)

• Maintain clear and open communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates, progress reports, and issue resolution.

• Ensure the high quality of deliverables, maintaining high standards for each outcome e.g. having a lower change fail rate.

• Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring that potential roadblocks are addressed promptly to minimize project disruptions.

• Resolve impediments and blockers in a timely manner.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive innovation within the Technology department.


Experience:

• Strong understanding of project management Agile methodologies and the ability to adapt them to specific project needs.

• Demonstrated experience in leading and developing a team.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex technology challenges and develop innovative solutions.

• In-depth knowledge of modern software architectures, including microservices, APIs, cloud computing, and data analytics.

• Demonstrated ability in developing a culture that embraces innovation, and challenges existing paradigms without compromising business performance

• Experience in resource management, including workload allocation and performance optimization.
