About the Role


The CE Regional Sales Manager is responsible for B2B sales across Europe as a whole. The CE Regional Sales Manager will manage the sales team to achieve Company sales targets, developing and training sales staff as needed, recruiting additional sales staff, fostering positive account relationships, and growing the brand presence and product portfolio in Europe.


The CE Regional Sales Manager must become fully entrenched in the brand and gain a deep understanding of the technical and functional aspects of all products and categories brought to market. This is a hands-on position where leading/managing the sales team, and training, presenting, pitching, and selling is required.


Sales Strategy


B2B sales are generated from various approved customer types, including bath/kitchen/lighting showrooms, retail dealers, architects, and designers plus Company approved e-commerce retail sites.


Utilise both Company staff and independent sales representatives to obtain placement of products (sell-in) and generate revenues (sell-out). There are also higher volume commercial or residential projects where this generates project specifications and submits bids to the developer/architect/designer with the goal of being selected to provide specified products for the project.

  • Developing a strategic sales growth plan, including benchmarks, metrics and sales and support programs and budgets, and then translating this into an annual operating plan.
  • Forecasting SKU quantities for launches and ongoing demand.
  • When required attendance at management meetings bringing a clear articulation of expected performance, evidenced with probability based and aged opportunities and estimates.
  • Facilitating sales of close-out or slow-moving inventory without disrupting full-price sales or the brand image.
  • Building and nurturing productive industry relationships, and effectively working with Architects, Designers and groups to develop sales opportunities (hospitality, commercial, residential).
  • Collaborating with the SVP to identify and foster new business and market opportunities.
  • Liaising with the Marketing teams to ensure local CE sales and marketing support programs are executed to build market share and volume. This includes specifying and assisting with dealer and sales staff collateral/marketing materials, and communication tools.
  • Promoting the Buster + Punch branded merchandising programs and disciplines required to properly represent the brand.
  • Assessing the Retailer displays, their ranking and formulating methods to improve displays and Retailer sale through.
  • Regularly (both formally and ad-hoc) communicating to company leadership regarding the status of the market, results vs. budget, product trends, service and quality issues, product voids and opportunities, organisations strengths and weaknesses, etc.
  • Ensuring the sales team is capable and motivated to drive maximum annual and long-term performance.
  • Analysing problematic situations and events and providing solutions to ensure an optimal Company response and outcome.
  • Exhibiting exemplary leadership and management behaviours; having an entrepreneurial approach to everyday tasks and issues; and consistently communicating internally and to the field to ensure an aligned approach and solid execution of all key initiatives.

Proven experience as a national or regional sales director, VP, or manager with a track record of fostering and promoting growth developing B2B business with architects and designers within the home improvement and preferably, hardware categories.

Proven sales leadership including business development and onboarding of major accounts while developing an outstanding sales team, with direct management of a sales team.

Strong appreciation of corporate finance, measures of performance, margins, and profitability (territory, product, and customer).

Excellent organisational and leadership skills; motivates team, holds staff accountable, coaches and trains, manages situationally.

Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Solid analytical and solution oriented; approachable demeanour promoting a positive moral across the team, accessible at all times.

Comfort level to work efficiently across a smaller sales environment with limited resources, while developing best in class efficient strategies to the broader functionality of the team.

Experienced and knowledgeable as it relates to a 360’ point of view on brand experience including service, quality, environment, and sales staff.

Track record in working across multichannel retail environments including with showrooms, dealers, and ecommerce.

Experience or interest of the Architectural and Design industry is preferred

Brand awareness and premium product understanding

Use of NetSuite CRM or similar application would be an advantage

Degree preferred but not essential.
