My Client

The business was established almost 20 years ago and has been rapidly expanding ever since. They now have 100+ finance professionals across 8+ regions in the UK and require a great new business salesperson from a consultative, service led background to develop their Surrey region with a key focus on the commercial centres of Guildford, Woking, Camberley, Farnborough and Ascot.


Their company purpose is to help SME business owners be more successful and lead better lives, and they do this by professionalising their accounting function. In short, they enable their clients to access, and implement, accounting best practices and work with great finance people- all on a flexible, part time basis that suits them.

The role will involve:

· Creating new business prospects through your own networking efforts

· Generating leads from introducers and partners that you source and develop in the region

· Build and develop brand presence within the region

· Following up with new business prospects, and converting those prospects into clients

· Developing trusted relationships with, and managing, your regional portfolio of clients to retain their business

· Leading a team of Financial Controllers and Finance Managers who will be providing services to clients

· Maintaining accurate records of all pricing, sales, prospects, and activity reports

· Achieving personal and team sales targets


The experience you’ll need:

· Proven experience in new business sales within a consulting or services environment (e.g. payroll, SaaS, audit, accounting, tax, legal);

· Experience of building introducer/partner networks to secure mutually beneficial introductions

· Ability to communicate, connect, present and influence credibly at all levels of an SME

· Excellent oral and written communication skills;

· A natural ability to nurture and build relationships;

· Proven track record of exceeding sales goals;

· Organised, dependable, and entrepreneurial;

· Motivated self-starter, driven by results and outcome-orientated;

· Open mindset and collaborative approach with a positive attitude;
