Business manager / Senior Administrator


About the Role:
Fixed term role (18 months) with opportunity to be a permanent position.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a very fast-expanding company. Your role as a Business Support Manager will be reporting to the Area Practice Manager and will be responsible for a wide range of administrational tasks. As the Business Support Manager of a professional service company, you must have strong time management and organisational skills alongside excellent relationship management. This is a varied role and will be suited to someone who has a hands-on approach and enjoys working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Answering phone callsChasing clients for books and recordsScanning & filingInvolve with onboarding processMaintain client’s information in line with business's guidelinesFinalising and sending out Accounts and Personal Tax Packs to clients for approvalHelping Hub Credit Controller with debtors’ queriesFinalising invoices / WIP Write outApply for HMRC & CH authentication codeAllocating Disbursements to clientsTaking payments over the phonePaying-in any cheques received from clientsMaintaining and reconciling office petty cashBooking appointments with clientsOrganise safe return of clients’ books and recordsKeep track of laptops and other IT equipment provided to team membersOrder StationeriesHelp the Area Practice Manager Lead with projects
Key Requirements:Proven experience in administration and a fast-paced environmentVery high level of attention to detail and accuracyProficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.Excellent time management skills - handling multiple and varied deadlines concurrentlyMust be able to meet administrative deadlinesAdditional Requirements:Be able to work independently as well as part of a teamOrganised, proactive, reliable and self-motivatedConfident communicator with personnel at all levels within the business, both written and verbal
