Experiential entertainment activities have evolved dramatically in recent years with the explosion in competitive socialising being one of the most recent and significant developments. From indoor crazy golf and AR darts to shuffleboard, ping pong and escape rooms, hospitality experiences with integrated gamification are huge.


On 3 November 2021, XP FACTORY PLC was born. Privately owned BOOM BATTLE BAR joined already AIM listed ESCAPE HUNT PLC on the London Stock Exchange under the umbrella name XP FACTORY PLC - the brand new home for experiential entertainment. With a strong, proven leadership team already in place, the growth potential for a well-capitalised organisation is vast.

BOOM BATTLE BAR is the first and only battle bar in the world. An entertainment battleground combined with a premium bar centered around competitive entertainment. From Crazier Golf to Augmented Darts, from Axe throwing to Shuffleboard, it has it all and much more. It’s the perfect place for corporates and consumers to experience the ultimate competitive high. First launched in 2019 and as the most recent acquisition into the XP Factory family, you would be joining BOOM BATTLE BAR at an incredibly exciting time and we continue to growth the business after our successful 30 site rollout across Owned & Operated site and franchises with 1 more to come by the end of 2024

Key Responsibilities:


  • Supporting the BOOM Senior Marketing Exec and Senior Marketing Manager to deliver B2C and B2B marketing goals, strategies and tactics that deliver against the global business objectives for consumer sales for BOOM BATTLE BAR’s International owner operated estate (22 UK venues)



Specific Responsibilities:

  • Managing the social media content plan and scheduling posts for BOOM BATTLE BAR’s local and national social media feeds across Facebook, X, Instagram, Threads & TikTok
  • Content creating for social feeds (briefing external videographers and shooting stuff on iphone themselves)
  • Community management across BOOM BATTLE BAR’s local and national social media pages
  • Owning the collateral orders for all venues via the online order portal and working with local site teams
  • Supporting the BOOM Senior Marketing Exec with execution of paid digital and social campaigns – through centralised global agency
  • Copywriting for CRM email marketing, Social Media, Press Releases etc.
  • Supporting the BOOM marketing team on PR activity (including Influencer activity, VIP launch nights for new venues, and local strategy and local press releases to support campaigns)
  • Assist in organising and coordinating events and activations for key campaigns.
  • Ownership of certain reporting functions across marketing/sales and keeping key shared drives refreshed and updated
  • Briefing design assets into the graphic design team to support campaigns, local sales initiatives etc.
  • Building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders (including site-level general managers, regional shopping centres, sales & events managers etc.)

You must have:

  • A self-motivated proactive attitude; we love those not afraid to get stuck in and get stuff done.
  • Passion for the industry; you need to know a good night out to be able to sell one
  • Be social media lover; always on top of the latest Tik Tok viral audio or Insta algorithm change.
  • An excitement for content; identifying fresh content ideas should be second nature.
  • Result-driven acumen; always thinking of ways to improve and innovate.
  • ROI conscious mindset; how does what we do develop the brand and deliver £ to the bottom line?
  • Ability to work effectively both unsupervised and as part of the team; every day is different.
  • Outstanding organisational skills; you’ll be planning everything from your to do list to VIP events.
  • Great communication skills; both written and verbal with a strong attention to detail


Ideally you would have:

  • 1/2+ years in marketing working across full marketing mix
  • Previous experience working in hospitality industry
  • Previous experience working with CRM or scheduling tools e.g. Monday, Hubspot, Trello etc.
  • Previous experience using online design and editing tools e.g. photoshop, CapCut, adobe suite, Canva etc.
