Fruition IT are recruiting an IT Director of behalf of an organisation going through a significant transformation journey.

As IT Director, you'll lead the strategic delivery of IT Infrastructure, IT Security and customer support systems. You'll be working in a dynamic work environment, driving innovation & technology excellence whilst ensuring alignment with ambitious organisational goals. You will lead a high performing team that will have a direct impact on the scalability and efficiency of a successful and growing business.

What will I be doing?

  • Developer & Implement IT strategies and initiatives
  • Lead and mentor a team, providing guidance and support to drive performance and innovation
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Manage IT budgets, resources, and vendors to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.
  • Drive continuous documentation and process review to ensure efficient delivery of all ISO and audit related certifications.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security protocols to protect company assets and data, ensuring ownership and integrity of information.
  • Implement robust cyber security measures to safeguard against threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Own and lead the customer support function and team, ensuring timely resolution of issues and high-quality service delivery.
  • Establish service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve customer support performance.

What do I need?

  • An experienced IT leader with success in driving technology initiatives.
  • Experience developing and implementing IT strategies.
  • Strong technical background with experience in IT infrastructure management including networks, servers and cloud services (AWS preferred).
  • Experience managing IT budgets, resources, and vendors.
  • Experience with IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated, compassionate leadership & people management
  • Experience taking responsibility for & delivering a technical strategy
  • Delivering transformational change
  • Experience working board level stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience of taking a team on a journey, promoting a culture of learning & development, innovation, collaboration & continuous improvement
