MORO RESTAURANT in Islington is offering a full-time role for an experienced Assistant General Manager.

We are looking for a responsible individual with a hardworking, positive attitude to work alongside and support the General Manager. They must thrive off managing busy shifts, be capable of overseeing the FOH team and have scrupulous attention to detail, as well as have a strong passion for food and wine and excellent customer service.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has at least 5 years of working experience in F&B environment and 2-3 years hands on experience as an Assistant General Manager.

  • Must be a team leader and team player, confident in managing people.
  • Must be knowledgeable and passionate about food, wine and the restaurant industry and be able to transfer their enthusiasm on to the team.
  • Is a leader with a high attention to detail, assisting in ensuring quality, consistency and high standards.
  • Help drive the business: maximise the reservations on shifts
  • Be familiar with Open Table or similar to get the best of the reservations book
  • Has the necessary experience to effectively train and manage teams.
  • Assist with back office admin for day to day tasks, HR & H&S, and help with budgets & costs
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK

Salary:

£45,000+ depending on experience
