  • Have 5 years’ experience of managing flood risk AND/OR Building Surveying projects
  • Want to lead a team creating solutions to increase the resilience of homes and businesses against flooding.
  • Have a degree in Environmental Science, Geography, Building Surveying, Civil Engineering or similar.
  • Want to be part of a growing and dynamic environmental business.
  • Like to work independently but with the support of a close-knit friendly team.


Then come and join our team at RAB as a Senior Flood Risk Consultant.


What you will be doing:


  • Managing projects to specified quality, time and expenditure budgets
  • Surveying buildings at risk from flooding to recommend Property Flood Resilience measures.
  • Leading a team of surveyors and assuring their work.
  • Writing reports with appropriate conclusions and recommendations using plain English.
  • Representing the company at community engagement events.


What you will need:


  • The ability and willingness to travel and work anywhere in the UK.
  • Have good personal drive to succeed with a willingness to learn.
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have strong organisational skills.
  • Have a desire to help and be empathetic to individuals and communities affected by flooding.
  • Be competent in the use of relevant IT software.
