Job Overview:

As a Sales Progressor you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the sales process for both buyers and sellers. You will act as the main point of contact, ensuring the timely and efficient progression of property transactions while providing excellent customer service. You will work closely with solicitors, surveyors, mortgage brokers, and estate agents to manage the chain and ensure a stress-free experience for all parties involved.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Sales Pipeline: Handle the progression of property sales from the point of offer acceptance through to completion, ensuring all deadlines and milestones are met.
  • Client Communication: Act as the main point of contact for buyers and sellers, keeping them informed throughout the sales process.
  • Liaise with Third Parties: Communicate with solicitors, mortgage brokers, surveyors, and other professionals involved in the sales process to ensure timely progress and resolve any issues.
  • Chain Management: Effectively manage property chains, including handling complications and resolving issues that could delay the process.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve any legal, survey, or finance-related issues that arise during the sales process, keeping clients updated on progress.
  • Document Management: Ensure that all required documentation is accurately completed, submitted, and logged in accordance with company and legal requirements.
  • Progress Reports: Provide regular updates and reports to the Sales Manager and other team members regarding the status of the sales pipeline.
  • Customer Service: Deliver a high level of customer service to all clients, ensuring that any concerns or queries are addressed professionally and efficiently.
  • Negotiation: Assist in renegotiating sale terms where necessary, ensuring the best possible outcome for both buyers and sellers.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Progressor within an estate agency, or similar role.
  • Excellent understanding of the property sales process, including legal requirements and chain management.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple transactions at once.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients and third parties.
  • A proactive, problem-solving attitude and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with property software and CRM systems is desirable.
