About the Role:

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and collaborative Regional Marketing Manager to join my clients field-based team. In this role, you will work closely with our agency team, the manufacturer, and the retail network across the Southern region of the UK. We are looking for a forward-thinking marketeer with a passion for the automotive industry, who is eager to embrace innovative marketing channels and new ways of working.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult and Collaborate: Act as a trusted consultant to retail dealers on lead generation, lead management, and customer loyalty, focusing on maximising database usage for improved sales conversion.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, implement, and measure effective and compliant local marketing campaigns across all business areas, ensuring alignment with brand standards and a focus on experiential, digital, and social activities.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, agency, and manufacturer colleagues through a blend of face-to-face site visits and regular online interactions.
  • Regional Consistency: Collaborate with other Regional Marketing Managers to ensure a consistent regional experience across the UK and share best practices.
  • Strategic Insight: Use tools and insights from previous consultancy work, agency reports, and management information systems to offer solutions to current challenges.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay updated on automotive industry trends and the evolving role of dealer networks, providing relevant advice on marketing solutions across various business areas, including Retail, Fleet, After Sales, Used Car, Motability, and Accessories.
  • New Starter Support: Help onboard new starters within the network, providing them with brand inductions and marketing support.


Who You Are:

  • Experienced Marketeer: You have significant experience in a similar field-based marketing role, either client or agency-side, with strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Industry Savvy: An understanding of the automotive industry will be essential.
  • Channel Expert: Comprehensive knowledge of the full marketing mix, particularly in digital and social platforms, with a strong ability to measure marketing effectiveness through data and reporting.
  • Relationship Builder: Skilled in building and maintaining relationships with clients and colleagues, fostering trust, and adding value.
  • Communicator: Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to inspire confidence in the dealer network and senior management.
  • Problem Solver: You are a dynamic problem-solver with exceptional people management skills, able to navigate the complexities of dealer and manufacturer relationships with sensitivity and gravitas.
