A well established and leading renewables business that specialises in the development, construction, and maintenance of utility scale PV power plants globally, is currently looking for an experienced Construction Manager to join the dedicated UK team.


The successful Construction Manager will have the responsibility of overseeing large scale ground and rooftop mounted PV/Solar projects, supervising and coordinating the works of subcontractors, and ensuring proper execution of their construction works while collaborating closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders. You will also ensure the highest quality of craftsmanship is delivered and that Health and Safety is of highest importance.


Essential skills:

  • Proven experience in managing construction projects from start to finish, on time and to budget
  • Good electrical knowledge and ideally some experience with Solar/PV projects
  • Excellent leadership and decision making ability
  • Thorough knowledge of construction techniques, processes, and safety regulations
  • Strong communicator with ability to effectively manage sub-contractors
  • Good level with the MS Office suite
  • As many of the following as possible - CITB, CSCS, SMSTS, ECS (black or gold), First Aid
  • Valid drivers licence and ability to travel and work of projects UK wide


Non-essential but nice to have:

  • Strong electrical background as an electrician or electrical engineer
  • NVQ level 4 and above in Construction Management
  • Experience with utility scale renewable projects
