The Sales Manager for our New Business Upper SME team will operate within our Private Sector team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our sales initiatives within the Upper SME segment which has exceeded all sales targets YTD. Your primary responsibility will be to achieve and exceed annual sales targets by acquiring new business and fostering strong relationships with key clients. You will lead and mentor a consistently high-performing Sales Team to ensure the consistent growth of our enterprise customer base.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Achieve contract revenues in accordance with the Company's Business plan, Commission scheme, and individual sales targets.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the Payroll and Human Resources market, including its culture, changes, and structure.
  • Acquire familiarity with iTrent functionality at all levels and grasp Managed Service delivery comprehensively.
  • Proactively create and shape opportunities with new prospects, employing a consultative, value-based sales proposition.
  • Establish connections with potential customers and carry out effective sales activities leading to the successful acquisition of new business.
  • Ensure that sales activities are presented effectively, with appropriate technical support when needed.
  • Prepare and dispatch all sales-related documentation to maintain accepted standards of continuity with prospects.
  • Generate and maintain prospects through CRM (Customer Relationship Management).
  • Compile a central file containing all documentation from the customer and prospect base.
  • Analyse and provide feedback on competitive activities as needed.
  • Stay informed about market and business trends by reading articles, periodicals, and engaging in discussions.
  • Self-generate and manage a pipeline with sufficient coverage to meet the required targets in the business plan.
