They have developed a fantastic reputation and are continuously expanding and progressing. They are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a Head of Social Care to manage current UK divisions in Cardiff and Swansea with a view to expanding this sector to their other UK offices.


The Role:

The role will involve effectively managing their Social Care divisions increasing sales activity and maximising the branch’s gross margin and operating profit.

Main responsibilities:

  • Proactively building relationships with key existing and prospective clients
  • Manage the division including business planning strategies, performance management and financial control.
  • Networking with a view to expanding their social care recruitment consultants across the UK.
  • Ensure staff are effectively trained in the attraction and retention of appropriately qualified temporary and permanent candidates for local and National client needs maintaining a thorough and in-depth knowledge of competitor activity within the marketplace.
  • Achieve the overall divisional budget and strive for continuous and improving profitability.
  • Carry out regular service level evaluations in line with client expectations.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with third-party suppliers.
  • Generate structured MI reports for the Senior Management Team and present content as necessary.
  • Maintain high levels of professional and technical knowledge through attending internal and external training workshops.


Ideal Candidate:

  • MUST possess excellent knowledge of the Care Sector and be a strategic leader and manager in the recruitment industry.
  • Experience of recruiting recruitment consultants and growing teams.
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent market knowledge e.g. funding opportunities
  • Strong knowledge of applicable social care legislation and regulations
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Able to plan and prioritise workload.
  • Strong sales background
  • Excellent communication skills
