Job Description:


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee daily operations on our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing teams, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring that all work meets quality, safety, and regulatory standards. With excellent organisational and leadership skills, the Site Manager will be responsible for maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, and addressing any issues that arise on-site. This role is essential to delivering our projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and motivate on-site teams, including subcontractors and site operatives, to ensure a harmonious and productive work environment.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety policies, ensuring strict adherence to regulations and safe working practices.
  • Maintain the highest quality standards by conducting regular inspections and quality control checks.
  • Serve as a point of contact between the company and clients, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing any concerns.
  • Identify and resolve project issues, delays, or discrepancies in a timely and effective manner.
  • Keep track of project costs and work to optimise the allocation of resources.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and any necessary permits.


Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.
  • Solid understanding of construction methods, practices, and safety regulations.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Familiarity with project management software is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications such as SMSTS, CSCS, or NEBOSH are advantageous.
