***This role requires travel across the UK on a regular basis & visits to our Capenhurst office (CH1 6ES each Wednesday***
About the role:
Working as part of the dynamic Asset Management team, you’ll be playing a pivotal role in driving sales growth, fostering client relationships and expanding market presence in the UK.
• Managing the sales pipeline from opportunity through to sale and after care
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets for sales via existing accounts and the acquisition of new business
• Providing onsite product training to customers in the use of our instruments as well as installation of equipment. Where appropriate, ensure sales conversion targets are met
• Effective customer management through optimised contact and visit strategy ranging from routine visits, quarterly reviews and staff training
• Understanding the customers’ drivers/requirements and preparing tailored proposals for our products and services
• Develop and implement a jointly agreed Customer Business Plans to achieve targets in line with Channel strategy
• To acquire and maintain a high level of technical product knowledge to facilitate conversations with all levels of practice staff
• Thorough understanding of customers’ strategy and competitor activity; create awareness internally through networking to ensure appropriate feed into the channel business planning process
• Utilisation and maintenance of our CRM system
What we’ll need from you:
• Demonstrable experience in field sales including business development and relationship management
• Experience and knowledge of selling to industrial customers is advantageous, but not essential
• Strong negotiation skills with good commercial awareness
• Reliable, self-motivated and the ability to work in a dynamic sales team
• Exceptional telephone skills are essential
• Experience with contract reviews is desirable
• Industry knowledge would be distinctly advantageous but not essential
What we can offer you:
• Up to £50,000 per annum + car allowance
• Company performance bonus
• 25 days holiday + stats + 1 day extra after every 3 completed years, to a max of 30
