In the role of Social Media Executive, your key responsibilities will primarily include rapidly scaling the CEO's personal brand. You will be responsible for managing and growing the CEO’s social media presence, creating engaging content, and building a strong online community that aligns with the brand identity and marketing objectives. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and storytelling skills across various social media platforms.
Responsabilities
Research & Ideation:
- Research successful content, analyse why it worked, and present insights to the team
- Develop content ideas, scripts, and plans that resonate with our target audience
Content Creation:
- Develop, create, and curate engaging content for social media platforms, including text, images, videos, carousels, and infographics
- Plan and write content for LinkedIn and other platforms, focusing on captions, posts, and newsletters
- Use tools like Canva to create engaging and visually appealing assets
Social Media Management:
- Manage and oversee all social media accounts, ensuring brand consistency and regular posting schedules
Community Management & Engagement:
- Manage engagement with the community, including comments and direct messages
- Build a positive community and encourage brand interaction
- Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers to create a positive community and encourage brand interaction
Trend Monitoring:
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to keep our strategies fresh and effective
Analytics and Reporting:
- Track and analyse social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
Collaborations:
- Identify and collaborate with influencers and partners to expand our reach and impact
Crisis Management:
- Manage any social media crises effectively, maintaining a positive brand image
Qualifications
Experience:
- Proven work experience of 5+ years as a Social Media Executive or similar role
- Demonstrated ability to grow a personal brand or social media following
Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms (including LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, X and Instagram), tools, and best practices
- Strong writing, editing, and visual content creation skills
- Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools
- Ability to use Canva or similar tools to create content assets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Impeccable organisational and time management skills
Attitude:
- High work ethic, desire to progress, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Education:
- While a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred, we prioritise attitude, work ethic, and relevant experience
