Premier Sports have partnered with a motorsport marketing agency that are looking for a Senior Social Media Manager to manage one of their drivers social channels.


The Company:

  • Creative agency based in London who work with F1 drivers to manage their personal brand
  • Works across branding, marketing, social media, merchandise, digital, content creation and more
  • Small, fast-paced start-up environment


The Role:

  • Responsible for creating engaging content and building a dedicated fanbase for a top-tier athlete within F1
  • Manage all parts of their social media, from strategy, to creation & publishing
  • Maintain the athlete’s personal look, feel, tone, authenticity across all socials
  • Aimed at keeping their audience engaged, executing and promoting relevant partnership and merchandise responsibilities and deliverables
  • Strategy and execution. Some hands on editing, although will have a Social Media Exec reporting into you, doing the heavy lifting on editing
  • Shape a positive narrative around the athlete, looking for opportunities to grow and differentiate their identity in the F1 space


Requirements:

  • 3yrs+ in a similar agency or team based social media role
  • Self-motivated
  • Commercially aware, and up to date on current trends across social media, as well as how other athletes and influencers are remaining current
  • Experience working on high-profile social media accounts (100k+ followers) is a MUST
  • Experience in motorsport, or working with a top-tier athlete is a MUST
  • In-depth knowledge of best practices and emerging trends across main socials (Instagram, YouTube, Twitter/X, TikTok, Facebook)
  • Comfortable and experienced in long-form and short-form content
  • Ability to work minimum of 20 weekends across the F1 Calendar is a MUST (full days off
