  • Monitor Internal Controls: Support and monitor the internal control function to ensure that controls within the represented cluster of countries are effective, efficient, and aligned with both company and local policies.

  • Participate in Cross-Functional Initiatives: Engage in cross-functional teams to support financial accounting, reporting, and control activities for complex transactions in the region, such as restructurings, supplier contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and leases.

  • Coach and Develop Teams: Collaborate with, coach, and oversee the Record to Report teams that manage the transactional details for each region. Build a talent pipeline within the Record to Report team to strengthen finance functions.

  • Align with Financial Planning: Engage with Financial Planning and Analysis teams regarding plans and forecasts to ensure alignment with business objectives, market opportunities, and execution capabilities, providing recommendations and direction to management.

  • Identify Opportunities: Proactively identify business and financial opportunities, proposing corrective actions and implementing them or communicating them to management for execution.

  • Provide Financial Leadership: Offer financial leadership, training, and guidance to financial and operational teams to enhance their skills for more effective management of responsibilities.

  • Assist Global Business Centers: Assist with all accounting activities performed at global business centers for centralized functions.

  • Enhance IT Systems: Support the development and improvement of IT financial and business systems to streamline operations.
